Actually the HDD for Microsoft doesn't lose them any money. They've been making a killing with it, and it has not been a problem for them at all. At this point they have to do it, just makes sense for them to do so. I would suspect many of their upcoming games have alot to do with this descion more so than what Sony is doing.

I find it funny how the system that was supposed to do games at 1080p, and the HD revolution "starts with us". DMC4 being created on PC/PS3 as the lead platform suddenly deems it Microsofts fault...wow...just wow...Halo 3 was bemoaned for it's resoultion. Halo has not even come close to being exploited like Mario. What we wintessed with Halo, was the emergence of a gaming phenom much like Mario. So be mentioned in that light great, but inaccurate in realtion to exploitation.
